- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Certified as a Legal Nurse Consultant and member of NACLNC®
- Eight years experience in law firms handling medical malpractice and personal injury cases
- More than 20 years as a hospital-based RN
- Ten years as a hospital Education Director
- Extensive experience with Joint Commission accreditation surveys
- Three years as an Associate Professor of Nursing and Program Director in the Virginia Community College System
